He also said that he’s trying to improve his batting agaist the spinners, always trying to back his instincts while facing the ballers on a spinning track like that of MA Chidambaram Stadium, he added.
Rohit Sharma did a small challenge where he played 50 balls and scored 50 runs at a strike rate of 100, he did this exercise to practice changing the strike through singles and doubles and also not hitting the ball in the air.
Rohit tried to find the gap in the field as well, this exercise will definitely help in the middle overs when the runs are coming in slow and it’s necessary to keep the run rate going and being patient enough to sustain that inning a bit longer, that eases the pressure on the upcoming batsmen and helps the team in getting to a good score.
Mumbai Indians are set to play Punjab Kings in the next fixture on April 23.
