The retention lists for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 are now officially out! The budget for each team has increased by 20%, allowing a total of INR 120 crore for squad building. Retaining players comes with specific financial implications: the first retained player costs INR 18 crore, the second INR 14 crore, the third INR 11 crore, and so on, with uncapped players costing INR 4 crore each.
