The long-awaited nuptials of Emma Frost and Tony Stark are depicted on the upcoming linking covers for X-MEN #26 and INVINCIBLE IRON MAN #10, which were first made public by IGN earlier today.
Both issues, which make their debut in September, have magnificent covers by Lucas Werneck, art by Juan Frigeri (INVINCIBLE IRON MAN #10) and Stefano Caselli (X-MEN #26), as well as writing by Gerry Duggan. First off, in X-MEN #26, the event we vowed would never occur—heck, Emma Frost vowed it would never occur—has finally happened!
Emma’s mutant family is shocked by this unexpected information as the Frost/Stark knot is completed! Then, in INVINCIBLE IRON MAN #10, readers are cordially welcomed to Anthony Edward Stark and Emma Grace Frost’s nuptials. Come watch the happy couple exchange vows with us. Regarding the approaching wedding, Duggan told IGN, “Neither looks to be the marrying kind. You’ll have to purchase it to find out why this works, how it works, and how much fun this is whether or not their marriage succeeds! They don’t appear at all prepared to get married to anyone, much less to one another, yet anything can happen.
