Is Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava looking for a new release date to avoid clashing with Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2?

Vicky Kaushal’s upcoming movie, Chhaava, is one of Bollywood’s most anticipated releases. As per new rumours, the movie would be rescheduled to avoid a box office clash with Allu Arjun’s eagerly awaited Pushpa 2: The Rule, which was a huge hit following its first installment.

Two blockbuster films will be released in December following a significant film conflict over Diwali. Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava and Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule were supposed to be released one day apart, according to the previous release dates.

Pushpa 2 is scheduled for release on December 5, 2024, much like Pushpa, which came out in December. A significant conflict was also set in motion when Vicky Kaushal’s historical epic revealed its December 6 release date.

However, a recent report in Midday stated that Chhaava’s creators have chosen to change the film’s release date in order to prevent a conflict and potential negative effects on their business. Additionally, they are more inclined to choose an unconfirmed earlier release date.

However, a new release date will be revealed shortly. Consequently, the Allu Arjun film will benefit from a single run at the box office.

Sukumar’s Pushpa 2: The Rule has the original lead cast, i.e., Rashmika Mandanna and Allu Arjun, and supporting cast Fahadh Faasil, Dhananjaya, Jagadeesh Sunil, and Ajay Ghosh.

Vicky Kaushal’s historical epic film Chhaava, on the other hand, is based on Shivaji Sawant’s Marathi novel of the same name. Rashmika will play the important part of Sambhaji’s wife, Yesubai, in it as well. Ashutosh Rana, Akshaye Khanna, Divya Dutta, and others are part of the cast.
