About
Due to his financial difficulties, Manas is unable to support his wife Pratima (Shahana Goswami), their two children, and his sick mother. Pratima, a homemaker, looks into several jobs to supplement his income in the meanwhile. She might go as far as working as a masseuse for affluent women or doing mall cleaning. They both learn the liberating qualities of their newfound independence in the midst of their fears about these new jobs.
For their roles in Zwigato, Shahana Goswami and Kapil Sharma both received excellent reviews. The movie was selected to be screened at multiple international film festivals, such as Toronto, and it was also added to the Oscar collection.
Know the Makers
For those who don’t know, Applause Entertainment and Nandita Das Initiatives produce Zwigato. The film explores the story of Manas (Kapil Sharma), a former factory floor manager, and is set in modern-day Bhubaneswar. Reluctantly taking on the challenges of the app-based possibility with its reviews and rewards, he becomes a food delivery rider after quitting his job.

Release Date Assumption
The most recent sources state that Netflix has purchased Zwigato’s digital rights. The movie is reportedly scheduled to debut on the massive over-the-top service in May, with streaming potentially beginning on May 3 or May 10.
