Ithiri Neram, featuring Roshan Mathew and Zarin Shihab from The Family Man, opened in theaters on November 7, 2025. Following its theatrical run, the film will soon begin streaming on OTT platforms. Ithiri Neram is set to air on the OTT platform SunNXT.
The film will be available for streaming two months following its theatrical run, on December 31, 2025. The streaming platform provided the official update in a post announcing its Christmas-New Year releases. Ithiri Neram tells the story of Anish and Anjana, former college lovers who unexpectedly reunite for one night in Thiruvananthapuram after years apart. Following a drinking party, the two embark on a journey together, addressing unresolved emotions, regrets, and changes in their lives.
One of them is married and has a child, while the other plans to study overseas. What follows is a love story that rekindles their old sentiments through meaningful conversations, delving into issues of lost love, “what ifs,” and whether they will reconcile or split ways for good. Prasanth Vijay directs the film, which is produced by Jomon Jacob, Dijo Augustine, Einstin Zac Paul, Vishnu Rajan, and Sajin S. Raj. Vishak Shakti wrote the film, and Basil CJ composed the music and background soundtrack, as well as the lyrics. Rakesh Dharan handles the cinematography, and Francies Louis serves as the editor.
