Jackie Shroff, fondly known as Jackie Dada or Bhidu, recently spoke from the heart about his son Tiger Shroff’s success. Appearing on The Right Angle with Sonal Kalra, the veteran actor shared how proud he feels seeing Tiger establish himself as one of the youngest action stars in the world. Jackie fondly recalled that while mothers still recognize him, children often call him “Tiger Shroff ka father”, something that fills him with immense joy.
Reflecting on Tiger’s journey, Jackie took a trip down memory lane. He shared how, years ago, when he went on stage to receive his Filmfare Award for Parinda, little Tiger was in his arms while Rekha presented the trophy. Today, watching that child rise to fame with massive hits like Baaghi 4, Jackie admits that it makes him emotional to be known by his son’s name.
Jackie also spoke about Tiger’s dedication to action films, highlighting that unlike many actors, he performs his own stunts. He explained how Tiger’s immense preparation and trust in his technicians set him apart. “The more sweat you shed before the battle, the less blood you lose during it,” Jackie remarked, admiring Tiger’s stamina, discipline, and commitment to rehearsals.
Tiger Shroff, who debuted with Heropanti in 2014, has now become one of India’s top action stars. His latest release Baaghi 4, also starring Sanjay Dutt, Sonam Bajwa, and Harnaaz Sandhu, hit theatres on September 5 and turned out to be a super hit at the box office. Meanwhile, Jackie Shroff will soon be seen alongside Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday in Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri.
