JEE-Mains and NEET-UG entrance: Latest update

The exam dates for both sessions of JEE-Mains will be announced by the National Testing Agency at least 15 days before the exam.

The Union Ministry of Education will soon hold a review meeting to decide whether the medical entrance exam NEET-UG can be conducted on August 1, and when the scheduling of the pending editions of the engineering entrance exam JEE-Mains can be done.  

With the CBSE Class 12 board exams cancelled, the aspirants are expecting the JEE Mains and NEET-UG entrance exams to be held in July and August.

JEE Mains: The Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Mains, administered by the National Testing Agency, are being held in four phases in this session, to ensure flexibility for the students. The first two phases of the same were held in February and March. The next two phases scheduled to be held in April and May were postponed owing to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. Even the JEE-Advanced exam that was to be held on July 3 was postponed.

The Candidates are advised to keep visiting the official websites of the National Testing Agency (nta.ac.in) and (jeemain.nta.nic.in) for the latest updates regarding the entrance exam.

NEET-UG: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon issue, the application form for the National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test (NEET) 2021, conducted for admission to undergraduate medical courses. The link is active on the official websites, (neet.nta.nic.in) and (ntaneet.nic.in) According to the official website, the application form will be available soon. If not postponed, the medical entrance exam of NEET   is scheduled to be held on August 1. 

However, the Education ministry will soon determine the exam dates considering the COVID-19 scenario.
