Jimmy Kimmel Roasts Donald Trump’s Plan to Save Hollywood with MAGA Celebrities

Jimmy Kimmel wasted no time mocking President-elect Donald Trump’s announcement of appointing Jon Voight, Mel Gibson, and Sylvester Stallone as “special ambassadors” to Hollywood. On Thursday, Trump posted on Truth Social, claiming that the three actors would help make Hollywood “BIGGER, BETTER, AND STRONGER THAN EVER BEFORE,” with their roles also acting as his ‘eyes and ears’ in the industry.

Kimmel, always quick with a quip, sarcastically praised Trump for his effort, saying, “While everybody has been worried that he won’t do anything to help us, turns out we’re wrong.” He poked fun at the selection of actors, humorously calling them “Braveheart, Rambo, and the Midnight Cowboy,” and joked that Trump must have watched The Expendables 3 and thought, “I need those guys to help me.”

Kimmel also took a playful jab at Jon Voight, 86, referring to him as Trump’s “eyes and ears,” asking, “Who better to be Trump’s eyes and ears than 86-year-old Jon Voight?” He even joked that actor Kevin Sorbo must be heartbroken for not being included.

As for the wildfires devastating Los Angeles County, Kimmel has been vocal in his support, highlighting the efforts of volunteers and directing viewers to donate to wildfire recovery funds. His Jimmy Kimmel Live! YouTube channel has raised over $96,000 for World Central Kitchen to assist those affected.
