Jio Platforms Ltd receives subscription of $4.5 billion from Google International LLC

Jio Platforms Ltd, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries Ltd received a subscription amount for Rs 33,737 crore ( $4.5 billion) from Google International LLC. This deal offered Google International LLC a stake of 7.33% in Jio Platforms Ltd. The two business giants are in talks of developing affordable smartphones with Android operating system and play store.
