Johnny Depp returns to the stage on his 60th birthday; also pays homage to his late friend Jeff Beck.

The American actor Johnny Depp returns to the stage along with his Hollywood Vampires bandmates.

The actor decided to make his comeback on his 60th birthday. Depp’s comeback marks an homage to his late friend Jeff Beck. Though his comeback was welcomed despite a leg injury and missing a few shows.

Depp’s friendship with Jeff began in 2016. They bonded instantly over cars and music. In 2019, when they started working together, Depp and Jeff also did a full European tour. The friendship duo also released a 13-track album last year and performed a few concerts.

As per a source who informed People, “The sickness came on really quickly, and it all deteriorated rapidly. Beck had spoken about how he had never had another creative partner like Johnny in ages. Jeff had gushed about his friend as he explained, He was a major force on this record. I just hope people will take him seriously as a musician because it’s a hard thing for some people to accept that Johnny Depp can sing rock and roll.”

On his 60th birthday, the actor reunited with his band, Hollywood Vampires. Depp also created a song to dedicate to his closest friend Jeff, who took his last breath at the age of 78 due to bacterial meningitis. Apart from this, he also played David Bowie’s Heroes to honour his late friend. A video of the same is going viral, where Depp states, “I should dedicate this song to one of all of our heroes, Mr. Jeff Beck.”
