The dangerous Joker virus has returned to haunt Android apps once more . Earlier in July 2020, Joker virus targeted the maximum amount as quite 40 Android apps available on Google Play Store post which Google had to get rid of those infected apps from Play Store.

Gadgets Now reported, the eight apps that were infected by the Joker virus are Auxiliary Message, Free CamScanner, Super Message, Super SMS, Fast magic SMS, Go messages, Element Scanner, and travel wallpapers.
The publication notes that each one the infected apps are removed by Google from the play store but if the apps remain on the user’s device, the virus will stay. So if you’ve got any of the apps installed on your phone, you ought to remove them directly .
Joker may be a malware Trojan that primarily targets Android users. The malware interacts with users through apps. In addition to 11 apps that were removed by Google from its Play Store, it removed another 34 apps in October for the same reason. The malicious apps had over 120,000 downloads, as per cybersecurity film Zcaler.

Some of the apps that were infected with the Joker Virus includes All Good PDF Scanner, Mint Leaf Message-Your Private Message, Unique Keyboard Fancy Fonts & Free Emoticons, Tangram App Lock, Direct Messenger, Private SMS, One Sentence Translator Multifunctional Translator, Style Photo Collage, Meticulous Scanner, Talent Photo Editor Blur focus, Care Message, Part Message, Paper Doc Scanner and Blue Scanner. The list of infected apps is pretty long but if you’re still using any of the infected apps, you ought to remove it from your phone.
