The makers of Jolly LLB 3 have given fans their first glimpse of Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi as they return to the courtroom drama with a comic twist. On Monday afternoon, Star Studios shared a motion poster featuring the two actors in their lawyer attire, each holding legal documents and trying to push through the same courtroom door while blocking the other. The poster hints at a face off between the two Jollys to decide who is the real one.
The caption with the post read, “Case number 1722 ki yachika hui manzoor! Advocate Jolly aur Advocate Jolly hazir ho!” Akshay Kumar added in the comments, “Jolly from Kanpur urf asli Jolly hazir hai, my lord!” The post confirmed that the teaser will be unveiled on Tuesday, August 12.
Fans quickly flooded the comments with excitement for the upcoming clash. “This time jolly vs jolly, can’t wait,” wrote one user, while another commented, “This looks really exciting, can’t wait for the teaser tomorrow.”
Directed by Subhash Kapoor, the first Jolly LLB released in 2013 with Arshad Warsi in the lead, alongside Boman Irani, Amrita Rao and Saurabh Shukla. The film was a box office hit, earning close to ₹50 crore. The 2017 sequel Jolly LLB 2 saw Akshay Kumar take over as the new Jolly, starring alongside Huma Qureshi and Annu Kapoor, with Saurabh Shukla reprising his role.
Jolly LLB 3 will unite both Jollys for the first time, with Saurabh Shukla once again in the cast. Subhash Kapoor returns to direct, and the film is set to release in theatres on September 19.
