Jonathan Bailey reveals returning to Bridgerton for season 4

The return of Jonathan Bailey to “Bridgerton” for the upcoming fourth season of the popular Netflix series has been confirmed. The actor, who gained popularity as a result of his depiction as Viscount Anthony Bridgerton, revealed the news on “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” when he expressed his excitement about getting back together with the “Bridgerton” family, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

For the upcoming installment of the Shonda Rhimes-produced historical drama, Bailey, who co-starred with Simone Ashley in the second season, will return to the ensemble cast. The actor quoted,”reuniting with the family next week. It changes every year, you know, every two years.”

Every season of ‘Bridgerton’ centres on a different Bridgerton family member, and the cherished period series takes on a new dynamic with each new lead. Bailey said he was thrilled with how the format of the event was changing. He remarked, “What an amazing thing to be a part of,” as he thought back on his moments with “Bridgerton.”

The actor’s breakthrough performance came in season two, when he played Anthony Bridgerton. He returned for season three, costarring with Luke Newton and Nicola Coughlan. As he looks to season four, Bailey also expressed his support for the new cast members, which includes his on-screen brother Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha, who was just revealed to be the season’s main couple.

Bailey also adds, “There’s going to be lots of space for new people to come in and Luke and Yerin are gonna be great. So I’ll always pop back and say hello.” Since Bailey’s Anthony and his brother Colin are central to Benedict Bridgerton’s romance, viewers may anticipate many family-friendly moments.
