Juhi Chawla files plea against 5G, hearing on June 2

Actress Juhi Chawla filed a plea against 5G technology in Delhi High Court.

Bollywood actress and environmentalist Juhi Chawla filed a plea at Delhi high court against the setting up of 5G wireless technology in India.

On Monday, the Yes Boss actress approached the Delhi High Court filing a plea against the setting up of a 5G wireless network in India. She raised the issue of radiation impact on citizens, animals, flora and fauna.

The actor said that she was not against technology but, “we have sufficient reason to believe that the radiation is extremely harmful and injurious to the health and safety of the people.”

The matter came up for hearing before Justice C Hari Shankar. He transferred the suit to another bench for hearing on 2nd June.

Juhi Chawla’s spokesperson said in a statement, “The present suit is being instituted, in order to seek a direction from this Hon’ble court to the arrayed defendants, to certify to us and, therefore, to the public at large, that 5G technology is safe to humankind, man, woman, adult, child, infant, animals and every type of living organism, to flora, to fauna.”

According to Firstpost, these 5G plans threaten to provoke serious, irreversible effects on humans and permanent damage to all of the Earth’s ecosystems.
