Jurassic World: Dominion, the third installment in the Jurassic World franchise will have a special snippet of the movie attached to the upcoming Furious 9 movie on IMAX screenings in about 40 countries from 25 June.
According to reports, the extended preview, which is expected to about five minutes long, will be consisting of a prologue to the narrative of the movie, which will be depicting a 65-million-year old story of Earth, a time when dinosaurs roamed the planet. The preview will throw light on the Cretaceous period, when humans did not exist, and is also expected to show the story of how a mosquito was able to carry the DNA of a dinosaur.
The Director of the third installment, Colin Trevorrow, had stated that he had always wanted to see dinosaurs in their natural habitat since his childhood and that it finally happened with help from VFX houses and production houses like Industrial Light and Magic, Universal, and Amblin. According to him, the five-minute extended preview which will be shown along with Furious 9 is just a glimpse of the movie they had made. He also said that the entire movie was an epic celebration of the world created originally by Steven Spielberg and Michael Crichton. The preview, according to the director, is a sequence that was made to be viewed on the biggest screen possible, which would be the IMAX which is reopening in select places.
Jurassic World: Dominion stars Chris Pratt as Owen Grady, Laura Dern as Dr. Ellie Sattler, Bryce Dallas Howard as Claire Dearing, Sam Neil as Dr. Alan Grant, Jeff Goldblum as Dr. Ian Malcolm, Daniella Pineda as Zia Rodriguez, Isabella Sermon as Maisie Lockwood, Campbell Scott as Dr. Lewis Dodgson and many others. The movie is scheduled to release on 10 June 2022.
