Justin Baldoni recently filed a lawsuit against Blake Lively

The drama surrounding the It Ends with Us movie set has intensified with Justin Baldoni now filing a $400 million lawsuit against Blake Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and their publicist. The lawsuit includes a range of allegations, including claims that Taylor Swift and Reynolds pressured Baldoni into accepting a rewrite of a key scene.

According to the 179-page complaint, Lively suggested changes to a rooftop scene where Lily meets Ryle, significantly altering the original script. Baldoni, initially reluctant, eventually agreed to review the rewrite. When he voiced concerns about the changes, Lively reportedly went silent for several days. Later, she allegedly conveyed that his reaction to the changes “didn’t feel great” for her, and suggested that it also affected Reynolds and “another megacelebrity friend.”

Baldoni’s lawsuit reveals that this “influential and wealthy” friend was none other than Taylor Swift. Baldoni claims that Reynolds called for a meeting in his New York penthouse, where Swift praised Lively’s script revisions, implying that Baldoni should comply with her direction. Baldoni, feeling pressured, texted Lively that if her version made the scene more engaging, he would have agreed without needing outside influence.

The filing also includes an odd exchange in which Lively allegedly compared herself to Game of Thrones’ Daenerys Targaryen, saying she had “a few dragons” to protect those she fought for, making it clear she had power in the situation.

Additionally, the lawsuit touches on the use of Swift’s song My Tears Ricochet in the film, with Lively reportedly confirming at the premiere that the iconic rooftop scene was written by Reynolds. This unfolding legal battle is creating more tension around the film’s production and the involvement of these major stars, making headlines as it develops.
