Kajol, who is gearing up for the release of her upcoming web series – The Trial – Pyaar, Kanoon, Dhokha, made it to the headlines for her statement on the political leaders and their educational qualifications.
In an interview, the actress stated, “We have political leaders who do not have an educational background. You are being ruled by leaders who do not have that viewpoint and education does give you that.”
Kajol’s statement did not sit well with a certain section of netizens as she has been receiving flak for being a ‘school dropout’ herself. The internet users were quick to defame the actress by calling her crop of nepotism and also brought in her husband Ajay Devgn’s endorsement for gutkha.
