Kamala Harris hints at possible presidential run, says ‘I’m not done, it’s in my bones’

Kamala Harris, the former US vice president, hinted to the BBC that she would run for president once more. According to Harris, “I am not done,” “I have lived my entire career as a life of service and it’s in my bones.” “If I listened to polls I would have not run for my first office, or my second office — and I certainly wouldn’t be sitting here.”

Harris also talked about the performance of US President Donald Trump thus far. One illustration of how he has weaponised the situation is the federal agencies that are pursuing political satirists. “He tried to shut down a whole media organisation because his skin is so thin that he couldn’t take criticism from a joke,” Harris said.

“There are many… that have capitulated since day one, who are bending the knee at the foot of a tyrant, I believe for many reasons, including they want to be next to power, because they want to perhaps have a merger approved or avoid an investigation.” Regarding Harris’s interview, the White House was contacted for comment.

“When Kamala Harris lost the election in a landslide, she should’ve taken the hint – the American people don’t care about her absurd lies,” spokesperson Abigail Jackson said. “Or maybe she did take the hint and that’s why she’s continuing to air her grievances to foreign publications.”

Even though the American constitution only permits two terms, Trump, who is currently in his second term, and his followers have been mentioning a 2028 campaign for him as well. The specifics of Harris’ 2024 presidential campaign, 107 Days, were just released. This was the length of her campaign following the withdrawal of US President Joe Biden as the Democratic nominee, allegedly due to his poor health.
