The images, posted on Kangana’s Instagram Stories on Thursday, were clicked during a brief break inside the Parliament premises.
In one of the photos, the two actors are seen seated side by side on a couch, smiling at the camera. Kangana opted for a lavender sweater paired with a peach saree, while Hema Malini appeared elegant in a yellow and green printed saree. Sharing the image, Kangana referred to the moment as one of calm within Parliament, fondly calling Hema Malini the “dream girl,” a title the senior actor has carried for decades. She also tagged Hema in the post.
The second image was a selfie taken by Kangana, accompanied by hashtags referencing the winter session of 2026 and Hema Malini’s iconic nickname. Adding a nostalgic touch, Kangana used Kishore Kumar’s song Dream Girl as background music for the post.
Kangana has consistently expressed admiration for Hema Malini over the years. In 2024, she praised the veteran actor’s dedication to dance and performance after resharing a throwback video from Hema’s early career, highlighting her enduring stamina and respect for the arts. More recently, Kangana was also present at the prayer meet held in New Delhi following the passing of Dharmendra, where she paid her respects and spoke about the legacy he left behind.
