Kangana Ranaut takes back her comment trivialising COVID-19 after infection

Kangana Ranaut has taken to Instagram by way of a video to explain the gravity of the Covid-19 situation after having contracted the virus herself in the month of May.

Previously, the actor had taken to all media channels to voice her opinion on the triviality of the virus, saying it’s just being hyped up by the media and politicians of the country. But, now following the infection, she admitted to the dread associated with the virus.

Although, she has completeled her quarantine period and is feeling better, she still feels that complete recovery is a long journey ahead. She presumed that she would have no problem in coping up with her regular workouts and shoots post the infection, but is struggling with post-infection fatigue, throat pain and bounds of feeling feverish yet again.

She quoted the virus as “unpredictable” because no one has the slightest clue of how, when and where the virus will mutate and attack its next victim.

She stresses on the need for a complete recovery with utmost care. She has urged her followers to be extremely careful in these critical times and not take to a complacent behavior by underestimating the power of this lethal virus.

The Manikarnika Actor’s shoot for her upcoming films have temporarily been postponed amidst the second wave of Covid-19.
