On Wednesday, May 19, the Kanpur administration has started an investigation against Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav after getting jabbed with the COVID-19 vaccine in his guest house instead of a hospital.
A senior official of Kanpur Administration said that Kuldeep had taken an appointment of Jageshwar Hospital in Govind Nagar but he has been vaccinated in the lawns of the Kanpur Municipal Corporation Guest House.
On Saturday, May 15, he took to Twitter to share a photo of him getting vaccinated and also urged to take the vaccine as soon as possible. He tweeted in Hindi, “Get vaccinated immediately whenever you get a chance. Be safe because you need to be united in the fight against COVID-19.”

At the same time, spinner Yadav is going through a tough time as he has not got a place in the 20-member squad of the Indian team for the World Test Championship final that has been announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) recently.
