Kanye West was spotted in Tokyo, Japan, reuniting with three of his four children—Saint (9), Chicago (6), and Psalm (5)—after being apart from them for nearly four months. On January 13, the rapper and his kids were seen browsing the aisles of a 7-Eleven in Tokyo’s Ginza district for about 10 minutes before buying snacks. West kept a low profile in an all-black outfit with his hood up, while his children appeared to be in high spirits. Notably, his eldest child, North (11), was absent from the outing, and his wife, Bianca Censori, was also not present.
Kanye and his wife have been living a nomadic lifestyle over the past six months, traveling between cities in Asia and the Middle East. The couple’s spontaneous living arrangements have kept them moving, and the reason for North’s absence remains unclear.
Meanwhile, back in Los Angeles, Kim Kardashian and her family were dealing with the threat of wildfires in the region. On Friday, it was reported that the Kardashian-Jenner family evacuated their homes due to the Kenneth Fire, which had scorched over 1,000 acres in Calabasas, California. Although their properties were unharmed, the family sprang into action to assist those affected by the fires. Kim, alongside her sisters, Khloe, Kourtney, Kendall, and Kylie, donated meals to fire stations, while Kim’s brand, SKIMS, contributed clothes and money to help displaced individuals. Kim also spoke out for increased wages for incarcerated workers who risk their lives fighting fires, urging California Governor Gavin Newsom to take action.
Kanye, on the other hand, has not publicly commented on the wildfires. This isn’t the first time the West family has dealt with wildfires—back in 2018, Kim and Kanye hired private firefighters to protect their $60 million mansion in Hidden Hills from an inferno.
