Neetu Kapoor, daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and fans remember the legendary actor-director, Raj Kapoor on his 33rd death anniversary.
Actor Neetu Kapoor took out time to remember her father-in-law, Raj Kapoor. She posted a heart-warming video of him on her Instagram and captioned it as “Miss you”.
Riddhima Kapoor Sahni also shared an overwhelming Instagram story remembering her late grandfather. She posted a picture of the legendary filmmaker with his three granddaughters – Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Riddhima.
Raj Kapoor was often called the ‘showman’ of the Hindi film industry. His fans also paid homage to the legendary filmmaker.
A user tweeted, “The Showman ! The Legend … Raj Kapoor ji ! No one can make a movie like him. A true maestro of both classes and masses,”.
“Today is the death anniversary of Raj kapoor sir. He is widely considered as the greatest showman in the history of Indian cinema and entertainment. Miss him,” another Twitter user said.
Raj Kapoor established his own studio -RK Films in 1948. He tied the knot with Krishna Kapoor in 1946. They were blessed with five children -Randhir, Ritu, Rishi, Rima and Rajiv Kapoor. Rishi, Ritu and Rajiv have, however, reached their heavenly abode.
