However, in a recent interview, the artist admitted that despite settling abroad, he does not feel at home anywhere outside Punjab.
The singer shared that he had visited Punjab just a week earlier and experienced the best sleep of his life there. While he acknowledged the comfort and safety that Dubai offers, he emphasized that Canada and Dubai cannot replace his roots. “I would love to be out here, especially now in my own village. Even if it’s far from everywhere, I would travel. But the situation right now is not what I would like it to be. Hopefully in the future, I’ll be able to,” Karan said when asked about returning to India permanently with his family.
Karan also addressed the need for tight security around him, clarifying that it is for protection and not a show of power. He revealed that he has faced life-threatening situations in the past, including his home in Canada being attacked with bullets. “We don’t want to take any chances. People have died for real. It’s not a joke. I’m trying not to let any of that disturb my happy life,” he explained.
On the work front, Karan Aujla recently released his album P-Pop Culture on August 22. Created in collaboration with music producer Ikky, the album was unveiled during his sold-out Montreal show in July, where he surprised fans with the title reveal and visuals featuring a custom statue and necklace.
