Actor Karan Mehra was under custody after his wife Nisha Rawal framed him under ‘domestic violence’. The actor was released on bail within few hours, but his wife later in the interview accused him of having an extramarital affair which she discovered a few months back and they are having issues in their marriage life from last few months.
Responding to this allegation Karan Mehra explained, “All these allegations are bound to come up and I will be linked with many people. These stories are baseless. I haven’t cheated on her and I am not having an extramarital affair,” he said.
While Nisha also claims that Karan used to beat her and did not look after their son. Nisha in the interview said it was about her child and her, he used to repeatedly physically and verbally abuse her, but she ignored everything because she wished to keep her marriage intact and also was worried about his image of ‘Naitik’. Karan Mehra played the role of Naitik in the most popular Indian daily soap ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’.
In an exclusive interview Karan confessed that he did not hit his wife, she harmed herself on the head and threatened to ‘ruin’ him. “Nisha barged into my room while I was talking to my mother, then she started abusing me and my parents, and as I tried to stop her and told her to go in her room, she spite on me and threatened me by saying ‘now see what happens”. He further added that Nisha goes through several mood swings and violent anger streaks, she throws stuff on herself and others and a few years back she is diagnosed as bipolar.
