Kareena Kapoor follows the same meal plan since 2007; reveals Rujuta Diwekar

Celebrity nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar shares that Kareena Kapoor Khan has followed the same balanced diet for nearly two decades

Kareena Kapoor Khan is known not only for her acting and screen presence but also for maintaining her fitness over the years. While fans are familiar with her intense workout routines that include yoga, pilates, cardio and strength training, it is her consistent diet that plays a major role in her overall health. According to celebrity nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar, Kareena’s core meals have stayed the same for the past 18 years.

Speaking in an interview, Rujuta shared that Kareena begins her day with dry fruits like almonds, raisins or figs. Breakfast is usually paratha or poha, followed by dal and rice for lunch. In the evening, she often enjoys cheese toast or seasonal fruits like mango or a mango milkshake. Dinner usually includes khichdi with ghee or sometimes pulao.

Khichdi, in particular, holds a special place in Kareena’s routine. Rujuta revealed that the actor eats it most days of the week and has continued to do so since her size zero phase during Tashan in 2008. Kareena herself confirmed this at a book launch earlier this year, calling khichdi her comfort food. She admitted that she finds it hard to sleep if she knows it is not part of her dinner.

On the work front, Kareena was last seen in Crew and Singham Again in 2024. She will next be seen in Meghna Gulzar’s crime drama Daayra alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran.
