Kate Middleton opened up about her cancer treatment

Kate Middleton recently visited the Royal Marsden Hospital in London, where she received treatment for much of last year following a cancer diagnosis. During her surprise visit, she took time to speak with staff and patients, who expressed concern and curiosity about her health.

One staff member praised her ability to manage her family life—husband Prince William and their children, Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6—while going through such a challenging period.

Kate humbly responded, acknowledging the difficulty of balancing her personal life with her health struggles. She shared, “It’s just trying to do the best,” adding that while treatment may seem over, daily tasks still pose a challenge. The Princess also touched on the lingering side effects of the intensive medical procedures, noting that patience is key to managing them.

During her visit, Kate had a conversation with Ruth Bosworth, a woman whose husband Richard was undergoing treatment at the hospital. Kate reflected on the exhausting nature of her own treatment cycles, saying, “Sometimes you feel relatively well, and then you have another one,” highlighting the physical and emotional toll of the ongoing medical process.
