Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, has expressed her gratitude to those who supported her during her battle with cancer. In a heartfelt post shared on X (formerly Twitter), she thanked The Royal Marsden for their care over the past year and acknowledged the quiet support she and her husband, Prince William, received during the challenging time.
She wrote, “I wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you to The Royal Marsden for looking after me so well during the past year.” She further thanked everyone who had been there for both her and Prince William throughout their journey, stating, “My heartfelt thanks go to all those who have quietly walked alongside William and me as we have navigated everything.”
Reflecting on her healing journey, Middleton shared that she is now in “remission and focused on recovery.” She also acknowledged the emotional and physical toll of adjusting to a new normal after a cancer diagnosis, but expressed optimism for the future, saying, “I am however looking forward to a fulfilling year ahead. There is much to look forward to.”
The Princess revealed her diagnosis in March 2024, after having taken a two-month break from public duties to prioritize her health and family.
