Kevin Pietersen thinks out of the box with a suggestion for T20I cricket, check more details here

Kevin Pietersen, the former English batsmen used Twitter to make a request to the English cricket association to include a rule in T20I cricket.

He said that if a player hits a shot and it travel over 100 meters, then it should be given a 12.

He said that if this rule is implied, it can lead to an revolutionary change in the T20I cricket scenes. It will lead to more close range matches as the competition will be high, and so will be the excitement level. The broadcasters will have a new equation around the possibilities of 12s being hit in the game and also this could lead to increasing the revenue streams as the 12s can be sponsored by companies like they do with titles and jerseys.

Pietersen’s thoughts may sound absurd but if they ever get considered, it may lead to a very different horizon of the game.
