Khloé Kardashian recently opened up about her experiences with infidelity in past relationships, reflecting on how those betrayals shaped her perspective on love and self-worth. The Good American co-founder was previously married to Lamar Odom, but after their split, she moved on with Tristan Thompson, with whom she shares two children.
During a candid conversation with Jay Shetty on her podcast Khloe in Wonderland, the reality star spoke about the deep emotional wounds she carried from her past. She revealed that unresolved trauma played a significant role in her relationships and that many of those scars had never fully healed.
Khloé didn’t shy away from discussing the difficult truths about her romantic past. She explained that, over time, she came to understand that the betrayals she endured weren’t a reflection of her worth but rather a result of her ex-partners’ personal struggles. “I know what was done to me was not about me,” she shared, emphasizing that their actions stemmed from their own unresolved pain.
When asked if she ever confronted her exes about their infidelity, she noted that the excuses often followed a familiar pattern. “Oh, my parents divorced” or “I grew up in a broken home”—it was always something like that. It was never about the actual relationship,” she explained.
Despite the emotional turmoil, Khloé credited her support system—her family, close friends, and faith—for helping her heal. “If it wasn’t for my family, my core circle, and my relationship with God… I just learned it wasn’t about me,” she stated.
She also shared a powerful realization: she initially saw cheating as something that happened to her, but over time, she understood that the real burden fell on those who betrayed her. “No matter what someone did to me, I was never manipulative or trying to do the same thing back,” she affirmed, highlighting her commitment to staying true to her values.
Khloé married Lamar Odom in 2009, but their marriage ended after four years amid rumors of his infidelity. She later began dating Tristan Thompson in 2016, and they welcomed their first child together in 2018. Their relationship was rocky, with multiple breakups and reconciliations, but they ultimately parted ways in 2021, shortly after the birth of their second child.
