Kisan Special train to start services from Feb 11, 2021

For the benefits of the farmers and transporters of NE Region, the North East Frontier Railway has decided to start Kisan Special trains from Agartala to Howrah and Sealdah. The trains service will begin on Feb 11, 2021, it will leave Agartala station at 1915 hours once a week every Thursday and will reach Sealdah on Saturday.

According to the statement released by NF Railway the train will stop at the following stops for loading and unloading of the goods :-  Kamakhya, Badarpur, Lumding, Khaltipur, Guwahati, Goalpara, New Bongaigaon,  New Coochbehar, Bandel New Jalpaiguri, Malda Town,  New Alipurduar, Bardhaman and Dharmanagar.

Commodities which can be transported through Kisan Railway are tea, rubber, turmeric, black pepper, mustard, soybean, betel nut, oranges, pineapple, ginger, kiwi, passion fruit, green chillies, large cardamom, fruits and vegetables. These trains run on punctual time tabled and are strictly monitored to avoid any delays or changing of routes.
