Kolkata choked Punjab for a low total of 123 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahemdabad. However, Punjab didn’t seem to lose its morale and retaliated boldly by dismantling the KKR’s top order.
Kolkata lost three wickets in the first three overs of their inning. Shubman Gill (90) was once again departed choosing to play across. Nitish Rana and Sunil Narine both went back to the pavilion contributing nothing for the team.
However, Bishnoi’s superman catch overshadowed every other action that was going on in the field. Narine pulled a brilliant shot off Arshdeep’s Singh and it almost looked like it a boundary until Bishnoi made that extraordinary attempt to grab it.
