Since November 2, a middle-aged schoolteacher who frequently fought with her husband over his addiction to mobile gaming apps has gone missing.
The woman, Anusthya Das, has been teaching Bengali to ninth- through twelfth-grade students at Namkhana High School, which is around 100 kilometres from Kolkata. The Times of India said that on November 5, Keshab Das, the woman’s husband, filed a missing person’s case at the Sonarpur police station.
He disclosed that their disagreements frequently started at night when he played PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, and their 9-year-old kid would also play games on her phone. Keshab, a high school teacher, asserted that his son’s cell phone addiction may have contributed to his wife’s anger.
The report stated that their son is enrolled in class IV at an English-medium school. “The investigation is ongoing,” police said. “The CDR (call detail records) are being tracked,” stated Ashish Das, IC Sonarpur Police Station, as reported by TOI.
