The upcoming movie “Tere Ishk Mein’, directed by Aanand L. Rai, will feature Bollywood star Kriti Sanon alongside South superstar Dhanush. Following the critically acclaimed Raanjhanaa and Atrangi Re, this film is Dhanush and Aanand L Rai’s second collaboration.
The creators of Tere Ishk Mein unveiled a powerful first-look video with Kriti Sanon on Tuesday. The actor delivers a stirring monologue in Hindi while carrying a bottle of kerosene amid a riot in the video.
The monologue is translated in English: “I know you love me, but I don’t have to feel the same way about you. In your rage, you might bring the city to anarchy, but I don’t have to suffer as much as you do. Your suffering will inevitably frighten me, but I don’t have to give in to my fear. There is no guarantee that you will be saved even if you lower your head before idols and at temples.”
Viewers are left curious as the clip concludes with Mukti (Kriti) lighting a cigarette and dousing herself in paraffin. The caption of the video reads, “Some souls are meant to collide. Some love stories are destined to burn brighter.❤️🔥 Welcoming Kriti Sanon to the #WorldOfRaanjhanaa as MUKTI in #TereIshkMein.”
The film, which was directed by Aanand L. Rai and produced by Himanshu Sharma, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar, features lyrical lyrics by Irshad Kamil and a music composed by the renowned A.R. Rahman. The spiritual continuation of Raanjhanaa, Tere Ishk Mein explores themes of unrequited love, desire, and inner turmoil in greater detail. November 28, 2025, is when the movie is scheduled to be released in Tamil and Hindi.
