Actors Kunal Nayyar, Lucy Hale, Christina Hendricks are all set to star in the movie The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry, which will be a big-screen adaptation of the blockbuster New York Times best-selling novel written by author Gabrielle Zevin, which has sold over five million copies and been translated into a total of 38 languages. The author recently sold the film rights to yet another novel he wrote – “Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow” to Paramount Pictures for $2 million upfront after an auction that was reportedly held between over 25 bidders.
The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry will be directed by Hans Canosa from original author Zevin’s own adaptation to a screenplay. The film will be produced by Claude Dal Farra and Brian Keady through BCDF Pictures along with others like Kelsey Law, Canosa, and Zevin. Brice Dal Farra, Nayyar, Hale, and Hendricks will be serving as executive producers on the film. David Garrett’s Mister Smith Entertainment will be handling the worldwide sales of the movie at next week’s Pre-Cannes Screenings. Principal photography for the movie has been scheduled for the fall season.

Christina Hendricks got international recognition starring as Joan in the Emmy award-winning series Mad Men, for which she was also nominated for six Emmy Awards and won two SAG Awards.
