Content creator and actor Kusha Kapila recently shared insights into the aftermath of her divorce from Zorawar Ahluwalia last year, revealing the toll it took on her family. Speaking on We Are Yuvaa’s Be A Parent Yaar chat, Kusha’s mother, Rita Kapila, candidly recounted her struggles with societal judgment following the separation.
Rita admitted that she began visiting the temple earlier than usual to avoid questions from acquaintances. However, one incident shook her when a fellow devotee brought up the topic. “I was shaky on my way home and started crying,” she said. Kusha’s father stepped in, reassuring Rita and calling their relatives to ensure no one brought up the matter again. “Someone even mocked that aunty for gossiping at the temple, and she later apologized to me,” Rita recalled, lightening the mood.
Kusha emotionally expressed concern over how her divorce had impacted her mother’s social life. Rita consoled her, acknowledging the experience was “tough” but emphasizing it was okay. Kusha revealed that the online hate, where she was labeled a “gold-digger” and “cheater,” had initially shaken her but also made her stronger.
Now, as the negativity fades, discussions surrounding Kusha focus on her thriving career. Having risen to fame as a content creator, she has transitioned to acting, appearing in Ishq Vishk Rebound and the show Life Hill Gayi. Despite the challenges, Kusha continues to inspire with her resilience and success.
