Kylian Mbappe tells PSG he will leave at the end of the season; Report

According to reports, Kylian Mbappe is set to leave Ligue 1 Champions PSG after his current contract, which expires at the end of the current season.

Transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano shared, “Kylian Mbappé has now informed PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi that he will LEAVE the club as free agent. The terms of the departure are yet to be fully agreed but he will LEAVE Paris in the summer — Kylian has yet to fulfil his commitments to the club.”

He added, “The decision is 100% confirmed as Nasser Al Khelaifi has been informed today. PSG and Mbappe will communicate together about Kylian’s exit in the upcoming months. Real Madrid keep working on Mbappé deal with total confidence to get it done.”

Mbappe’s future has been a hot subject in the world of football transfers for more than a year, and a source close to the club disclosed on Thursday that the French superstar will seek another club before the start of next season.

After moving from Monaco to Paris in 2017, Mbappe’s contract was extended in 2022 until 2024. However, last summer he chose not to use the option that would have allowed him to continue at PSG for another year.

Many teams would be competing for the opportunity to sign the Frenchman, but Real Madrid seems to be the most likely choice for the World Cup winner.
