OSH code 2020 was passed in parliament on November 19. This code makes institutions follow the framework for labourers to work for a maximum time of 12 working hours in a day, and a maximum of 48 working hours in a week ( six days x eight hours including one day off). This code helps workers get a chance for earning more overtime.There would be regular intervals for rest, which in total would amount to 12 working hours a day.
