Lakha Sidhana, accused in Republic Day violence, is seen at farmers’ rally

Lakha SIdhana, who is an accused in the Republic Day violence, was seen at a farmers’ rally in Mehraj village, Bathinda.

He was seated at the back on the stage while the protestors dared the police to arrest him. AAP MLA Kultar Singh Sandhawa, grandfather of Navreet Singh who died in the Republic Day violence, and son of Punjabi singer Kuldeep Manak were also present at the rally. Sidhana earlier posted on social media about the rally. Delhi police announced Rs.1 lakh for any information on Sidhana. He was formerly a gangster and has had many cases against him.

Farmers across India on Republic Day protested at Red Fort against the three farm bills passed in September last year. The Delhi Police took action against them and have arrested various people, including singer Deep Sidhu. They also arrested climate activist Disha Ravi for spreading a toolkit related to the ongoing protests.
