
On Monday, Lava Yuva Smart was introduced in India. It is the newest model in the company’s Yuva series and is targeted at smartphone users who are just starting out and make less than Rs 10,000.
It has a 6.75-inch screen with 60Hz refresh rate capability. According to Lava, the Yuva Smart boasts a dual 13-megapixel rear camera system with artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. Notably, after the Lava Yuva 2 5G was released in December, this is the second smartphone in the India-based manufacturer’s Yuva portfolio to be released in recent months. In India, the Lava Yuva Smart Price was introduced at an initial cost of Rs. 6,000.
The smartphone comes in three different colours: Glossy Blue, Glossy Lavender, and Glossy White, and can be bought on Amazon and Flipkart. The business offers free in-home service and a one-year warranty.
The 6.75-inch (720×1600 pixel) HD+ screen on the Lava Yuva Smart has a 20:9 aspect ratio and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. Unisoc 9863A, an octa-core processor, 3GB+3GB (virtual) RAM, and 64GB of onboard storage that can be expanded to 512GB with a microSD card power it.
Android 14 Go powers it. A 13-megapixel dual rear camera system with an LED flash is featured on the phone. According to the manufacturer, it has AI power and enables night, portrait, and HDR settings.
Additionally, it has a 5-megapixel front camera in a water drop-style notch for taking pictures and making video calls. According to Lava, the camera system also offers capabilities like AI modes and slow-motion footage.
The Lava Yuva Smart is equipped with dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 4.2, and OTG capabilities. It has a 5,000mAh battery that can be charged with 10W via USB Type-C. Face unlock and a fingerprint sensor on the side are two of the phone’s security features. It also has a battery-saving mode and a QR code scanner.
