Ready to get vaccinated; check out the entire process of how to vaccinated

As the much awaited vaccination drive of India took place today around 3,00,000 people are expected to have been vaccinated till 5 PM. The vaccination put to use are Covishield and Covaxin which is being authorized for emergency immunization of around 3 crore healthcare and front-line workers in the first phase of the drive. The cost is being borne by the Central government and the first shot was administered at AIIMS, Delhi in the presence of AIIMS Director, Dr. Vardhan.

To get vaccinated the general public will be required to submit some mandated documents and it is mandatory to get registered for the process. The list is as follows :-

  • Voter ID, Driving License, PAN Card, Office ID, Bank/Post Office Passbook, Service Identity Card, MGNREGA Card, Passport, Health Insurance Smart Card, Pension Card

To register you would have to physically visit the vaccination center and show the necessary documents.

A list will be issued of the people getting vaccinated and based on this people will have to get them registered, a message will be sent on the registered mobile number by the Health Ministry.

A toll free number has also been released 1075 to provide any further assistance after getting vaccinated.
