Lupin has revealed that it has obtained the approval from US Health regulator for its newly Empagliflozin and Metformin Hydrochloride ER tablets that will be used to treat diabetes in the US. Lupin said that it has received the tentative approval for the product in multiple strengths from USFDA.
Lupin also revealed that the product is a generic equivalent of Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals’ Synjardy XR tablets and the medicine will be manufactured at its Nagpur facility.
