Kajol is getting ready to play the lead in Maa, a legendary horror film. The movie is scheduled to premiere on theatres on June 27, 2025, and the first look was just unveiled. Netflix will be the OTT release platform for Maa.
The recently released Maa motion poster indicates that Netflix is its streaming partner. Those who enjoy the tale may rewatch it, or those who missed this Kajol movie in theatres will have the opportunity to see it digitally for the first time.
From the convenience of their homes, they will be able to enjoy it. The digital release date is yet unknown, though. Ronit Roy, Indraneil Sengupta, and Kherin Sharma play important roles in the cast in addition to Kajol in and as Maa. Saiwyn Quadras wrote the screenplay while Vishal Furia directed the movie. It is co-produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak and produced by Ajay Devgn and Jyoti Deshpande.
Jio Studios and Devgn Films are the presenters. In the film’s opening scene, Kajol’s character was shown protectively hugging her daughter. They had cuts and wounds all over their bodies. On June 27, 2025, Maa—available in Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi—will be released in cinemas.
