As Four More Shots Please prepares to return with its fourth and final season, the long-running series is entering its most emotional chapter yet. After a three-year gap, the Prime Video show is set to conclude the journey of Damini, Anjana, Umang and Siddhi characters that struck a chord with audiences for their honesty and unapologetic portrayal of modern friendships.
In an exclusive conversation with Hindustan Times, Maanvi Gagroo opened up about the moment she truly understood that the show was ending. She shared that when the cast was first informed about the final season, the mood was filled with excitement and determination to give it their all one last time. However, the weight of the goodbye only surfaced much later.
According to Maanvi, it was on the final day of shooting that reality hit her that Siddhi, a character she had lived with for years, would finally be left behind. The final moments on set turned emotional, with laughter and tears flowing simultaneously.
Speaking about Siddhi’s arc, Maanvi said the character’s most defining change has been learning to accept herself. While Siddhi remains the same at heart, her experiences pushed her to grow, sometimes by choice and sometimes by circumstance. The actor added that Siddhi’s journey of discovering confidence and self-worth mirrored parts of her own life. She revealed that playing Siddhi helped her confront personal insecurities, particularly around body image, without her even realising it at the time.
Created by Rangita Pritish Nandy and Ishita Pritish Nandy, the show also stars Sayani Gupta, Kirti Kulhari and Bani J. The final season will stream on Prime Video from December 19, promising a sense of closure for both the characters and the audience.
