Madhuri Dixit Wants This Star Kid to Recreate “Ek Do Teen”

Actor Madhuri Dixit has expressed her opinions about who could be able to bring her famous song Ek Do Teen’s enchantment back in a remake. Madhuri firmly believes that Rasha Thadani may breathe fresh life into the ageless masterpiece.

Alongside Aaman Devgan, Rasha, the daughter of Raveena Tandon, made her cinematic debut in Azaad. Rasha received praise for her work. Uyi Amma, her dance number, was one of the movie’s main highlights and went viral on social media.

Madhuri recently commended Rasha Thadani during an interview at the IIFA Green Carpet, saying, “I like Rasha Thadani among the youngest ones.” She has a really elegant dance style. When asked which one, if it were recreated today, she believed would best honour her famous song Ek Do Teen, she gave her opinion. Immediately, she adopted Rasha’s name. Tezaab, the 1988 movie that became Madhuri’s breakthrough, featured Ek Do Teen.

N Chandra produced and directed the film, which starred Anil Kapoor opposite Madhuri. The film’s soundtrack was composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal. Shreya Ghoshal crooned the new version of the song, which included Jacqueline Fernandez, for Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 2.

Rasha, Raveena’s daughter, made her Bollywood debut this year in the movie Azaad. With an emphasis on love, devotion, and bravery, Azaad, which was produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Pragya Kapoor, told a tale of the relationship between people and animals.

The film, which was set in pre-independence India and featured themes of dacoitry and the Zamindari system, focused on a 19-year-old Govind and his extraordinary horse. On January 17, the movie was shown in theatres. At the box office, it did not receive the anticipated response. On day one, the historical drama brought in ₹1.5 crore, while on day two, it brought in ₹1.3 crore.

According to preliminary estimates, it made ₹1.85 crore nett on day three in India. The movie has made ₹6.35 crore in India thus far.
