The Bharatiya Janata Party government in Madhya Pradesh has decided to constitute a ‘Cow Cabinet’ for the protection and promotion of cows in the state. This is the first such initiative in the country by any state government.
Making the announcement on Twitter on Wednesday morning, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said animal husbandry, forest, panchayat and rural development, revenue, home and farmer welfare departments will now be a part of the ‘Cow Cabinet’
