Maharashtra Government announces night curfew between 11 pm to 6 am in the state in all municipal corporations from December 22, 2020, to January 5, 2021. (ANI)
The curfew has been imposed in wake of the rising COVID-19 cases in the cities. Recently, Mumbai’s few nightclubs were raided for violating social distancing norms and operating till late. The number of cases in the state can surge post Christmas and New Year celebrations and hence the night curfew is been imposed to restrict the same.
