Maharashtra government pauses vaccination drive

The Maharashtrian government has decided not to conduct Phase  I of the vaccination drive on January 17 due to some technical difficulties in the CO-WIN. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the vaccination drive on Jan 16 and around 3 crore frontline workers are going to receive vaccination in the Phase 1 of the emergency usage immunization. Earlier Odisha government also released a statement for not conducting the drive on Jan 17 to anaylize and see how people are reacting to the vaccination received on the first day.
