Mahindra & Mahindra, Ford call out plans for their tie-up

The Mahindra & Mahindra and Ford Motor Company joint venture which the country was much awaited for has come to a standstill after the government restricted the deal in the wake of COVID-19. The US car maker had the vision of expanding its production through a contract manufacturing tie-up. According to the companies this decision will not have any impact on the plan and is well positioned in its core true SUV DNA and product platforms. Mahindra is also pumping efforts to build dominance in electric SUVs.
